Hotels & LodgesPrivate Residences for Group Celebrations: Space, Staff and Chef Arrangements
Fact-checked as of 15 October 2026
A shared house or large suite can give a celebration its own rhythm: breakfast together, time by the pool and a table large enough for everyone. The useful distinction is between exclusive accommodation and exclusive staff. Confirm both in writing rather than assuming that a residence automatically includes a private chef, butler and house manager.
Who This Is For
Families or friends who want communal living space and are willing to compare room layouts, staffing hours and meal arrangements. Our editorial preference is to settle those practical details before choosing on photographs alone.
Who This Is NOT For
If the group wants entirely independent meals or finds regular staff visits intrusive, discuss a lighter-service arrangement. A residence inside a hotel also retains shared resort spaces unless an exclusive-use contract says otherwise.
Places to Start
1. The Mustique Company’s villa collection
The official Mustique villa collection is a useful starting point for a Caribbean group stay. Choose an identifiable villa from the current collection and request its own specification: bedrooms and bed types, pool access, staff roles and hours, menus and food charges, transfers and event permissions. Do not infer the same staffing package across the island.
2. Teremoana Residence at The Brando, Tetiaroa
Teremoana Residence has three ensuite bedrooms, an infinity pool, a fully equipped kitchen and indoor and outdoor dining spaces. The operator lists an Experience Creator and a separate staff/children’s bedroom. A room for accompanying staff does not itself mean a chef or butler is supplied.
For a celebration, ask which dedicated staff and private meals the quoted package includes, when they are available and what costs extra. The residence is part of The Brando resort on Onetahi motu; booking it does not buy out the island.
3. Treville Positano: the four-bedroom option
Treville Positano is a hotel spread across four villas. Its Four Bedroom Suite, listed as Zeffirelli with Plunge Pool, offers a private heated plunge pool. The published category also lists breakfast and a shuttle boat to and from Positano; confirm operating arrangements for your dates.
Treat this as a large hotel-suite option, not an automatically exclusive private estate. Ask separately about dedicated chef service, staffing, event capacity and any whole-property buyout. Confirm which terraces, dining spaces and sea-access areas remain shared.
Before You Commit
Request one written proposal covering the exact property and accommodation, exclusive areas, staff roster, chef availability, menus and food costs, accessibility, child arrangements, transfers, event rules, taxes and cancellation conditions. For a country-house rental, verify the full name, address and operator before relying on a description or arranging payment.
