We check the facts we publish. Where a claim rests on an outside source, such as a Michelin listing or a hotel's published rates, we attribute it so you can verify it.
How we are funded
Some links to booking partners may earn us a commission. Booking providers set their prices and terms; compare the available options before reserving. Payment cannot buy editorial inclusion or ranking. Any paid promotional content is clearly labelled ‘Sponsored’ or ‘Advertising’ and kept separate from editorial recommendations. If something is wrong, email hello@only5star.com. We correct errors promptly and add a note when a change is material.
Freshness
Articles retain their original publication dates. Where a full fact-check has been completed, a separate dated note identifies that review. An unstamped article should not be assumed to have completed the same review.
